This bead was found towards the north end of cairn T13 on Stanton Moor. The burial was numbered T13A and contained a disturbed deposit of bones. With the bones were this bead, a piece of burnt flint, possibly a scraper or arrowhead, and a few pieces of urn with a zigzag pattern. The bones were identified as those of a young adult woman.

This is a segmented bead. This term is used for cylindrical beads which are divided up into sections or segments. They are not found very often.
