These three examples of barbed and tanged arrowheads were all excavated by J. P. and J. C. Heathcote from sites on Stanton Moor. The barbed and tanged arrowhead is dated to the Bronze Age. It is the most developed form of the flint arrowhead. It was used before metal ones were developed.

Two of the arrowheads were found in cairns on the moor. We only know the excavation details of one of these. The third arrowhead was found at Doll Tor, a stone circle on the western side of the moor.
